Intangible AI, a no-code 3D creation tool for filmmakers and game designers, has secured $4 million in seed funding. The AI-powered tool enables users to create 3D world concepts using text prompts, making the creative process accessible to professionals and everyday users alike. With the new funding, Intangible plans to launch its no-code web-based 3D studio in June. The company is led by Charles Migos, a former lead designer for Appleā€™s first-party iPad apps, and Bharat Vasan, co-founder of Basis, a wearables company acquired by Intel. Intangible’s product allows users to create 3D worlds without needing complex coding, using a library of 6,000 3D assets and AI image generation. The tool also features collaboration capabilities for real-time team work. Currently in closed beta, Intangible has attracted interest from major film and gaming studios. The official launch in June will include a free tier and paid subscription options ranging from $15 to $50 per month, with additional credits available for purchase. The funding round was led by A16z Speedrun, Crosslink Capital, and several angel investors, and will be used for product development and hiring.
